Qualified Deployment Extension · Managed Private AI

Put advanced AI inside the control boundary the work requires.

HONONOH designs, deploys, and operates bounded private AI systems for complicated work in sensitive environments. We start with the workflow and its evidence, then select the models, controls, and compute required to run it responsibly.

FDE hierarchy: the workload and authority model come first. Private compute follows only when a qualified operating system requires it.

A managed operating capability—not an AI appliance with a markup.

The operating problem

Important work rarely fits inside a generic AI subscription.

The value is often locked in sensitive records, fragmented systems, and judgment that has never been made explicit.

01 The data boundary mattersRecords, prompts, outputs, logs, backups, and support access need explicit routes and authority.
02 The workflow carries consequencesThe system can prepare work, but people must retain authority over consequential action.
03 The operating burden is realModels, retrieval, identity, monitoring, updates, recovery, and exceptions need one accountable service model.
Three deployment paths

Choose by workload, custody, and operating responsibility.

The system may live on client-owned hardware, on HONONOH-managed equipment at the client site, or in dedicated Canadian-hosted infrastructure.

Canadian location is not a substitute for an evidence-backed control model.

HONONOH documents data location, provider exposure, operator access, retention, backups, logs, subprocessors, human authority, and prohibited secondary use for the actual workload.

The managed system

The compute is one layer. The operating system is the offer.

Every deployment needs six named layers with clear ownership and acceptance evidence.

01 · Workload

Bound the job

Define the users, decisions, operating result, consequences, and prohibited actions.

02 · Knowledge

Govern the sources

Set source authority, retrieval rules, provenance, retention, and refresh cycles.

03 · Model

Select and evaluate

Choose models, routing, adaptations, evaluation cases, and fallback behaviour.

04 · Control

Preserve authority

Apply identity, access, approval gates, logs, tool permissions, and exception paths.

05 · Infrastructure

Engineer the environment

Size compute, storage, network, power, cooling, backup, and recovery.

06 · Operations

Run the service

Monitor, patch, update, recover, support, and report against the service boundary.

Model adaptation

Fine-tuning is a measured intervention—not the opening promise.

HONONOH uses the least complex method that passes the acceptance test.

01Instructions and outputsMake the task, constraints, and required structure explicit.
02Retrieval and source qualityImprove what the model can see and how supporting evidence is assembled.
03Tools and validationUse deterministic systems for calculations, lookups, rules, and consequential writes.
04Evaluation-driven adaptationUse adapters or fine-tuning only when measured failures remain and the approved dataset supports it.
The entry engagement

Qualify the workload before buying the infrastructure.

The Private AI Decision Record establishes the operating and technical basis for a deployment decision.

Operating boundaries

Control claims must survive inspection.

The offer remains bounded until the deployment evidence proves otherwise.

Decision guides

Answer the architecture questions before selecting the stack.

Use these guides to define the service boundary, compare deployment paths, and identify what must be measured.

Verified capability patterns

Proof of method without invented outcome claims.

These internal systems show bounded implementation patterns. They are not presented as client case studies, compliance results, or quantified business outcomes.
